The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working within accountability systems and functions and ideally within an education setting. You will regularly visit schools to test their compliance against a clearly defined set of standards and produce reports from which assurance and suggestions for improvement can be made to the schools and the Trust.
This post will be the designated Data Protection Officer for the Trust and will act as the lead on supporting schools to ensure compliance as well as responsibility for responding to Freedom of Information and Data Access Requests. A short and certified training course will be provided to ensure you are fully trained and accredited to take on this role.
