It is with great sadness that we must let you know that Gary Peile the CEO of our Trust passed away on Saturday 2 February.
Gary died peacefully in the Royal London Hospital after a long and brave battle against the effects and complications of fighting thyroid cancer for over 4 years.
Whilst we are shocked at losing Gary we can all be reassured that he had received great pleasure and professional challenge in being a founder member of Active Learning Trust. He achieved his long held ambition to be the CEO of a successful multi-academy trust, he loved his work and visiting our schools, and all of us who worked with him and knew him will carry those positive memories in our hearts.
