Highfield Littleport receives prestigious Safeguarding Award

Highfield Littleport Academy is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Platinum Excellence in Safeguarding Award following a safeguarding audit by Incyte International. 

The award is one of the highest levels of recognition for safeguarding practice, demonstrating that Highfield Littleport Academy goes above and beyond to honour their commitment to keeping every child safe and happy. 

The audit highlighted that pupils feel secure and supported due to strong relationships between staff and students. Strong leadership at the school was praised and inspectors recognised that pupil safety is a top priority across the school.

Safeguarding systems were highlighted as being robust, regularly reviewed and consistently applied, including clear policies and rigorous procedures.

Staff from Highfield Littleport were also highlighted for their exceptional practice - knowing the pupils well and using this knowledge to inform their practice so every child’s needs are met.
