Students design mural for gallery entrance as part of work experience
Two Year 10 students from Highfield Ely Academy in Ely have designed a mural which is on display in the entrance of the Haddenham Art Gallery.
The pair, Xander and Olly, were on work experience at the gallery and during their time there were given the exciting opportunity to design and create a mural for the gallery’s entrance.
The students’ finished artwork is now on display, showcasing not only their artistic talent but also the creativity, commitment and professionalism they demonstrated throughout the placement.
Highfield Ely Academy is very grateful to all the staff at the gallery who helped to make this real-world work experience such a success.
“We are incredibly proud of our two Year 10 students - this fantastic piece of artwork truly showcases their creativity, talent and dedication.
The work experience placement has provided them with valuable real-world insight, helped develop their artistic skills and allowed them to represent our school so positively.
